Therapy

Three ways of working, chosen with you

Most people begin with trauma therapy in phases. EMDR and somatic work are added when you are steady and want them.

Trauma therapy in phases

Steadiness first, then work with memory, then a return to your days.

  • Weekly sessions of 50 minutes

  • Grounding before anything else

EMDR

A structured method for working with memory, used only once you can stay present while we do.

  • Preparation comes first

  • Taken one small step at a time

Somatic work

Noticing and settling what the body does, in small steps, with your eyes open if you prefer.

  • No special clothing or poses

  • You choose what to notice

Paying

How each session is paid for

Brume is out of network. You pay for each session, and you receive a monthly receipt you can send to your plan.

  • A written estimate first

You receive it before your first session.

    How fees work
  • Moving a session

We ask for 24 hours' notice, and we would rather move a session than lose you.

  • Cards, including HSA and FSA

Paid at the end of each session.

Not sure which fits?

You do not need to choose before you write. We will talk about it at the start.
